  HISTORY

Tri-State Beauty Academy, founded in 1969, was purchased by International Beauty Enterprises in 1982 and changed the name to International Beauty Schools, and in 2003 MD Educational Services, LLC .acquired International Beauty School- Cumberland.

International Beauty School graduates can be found as successful stylists in large chain salons, or small family owned salons, as managers of salons, salon owners,  cosmetology  instructors,cosmetology  school owners, and manufacturer representives in all parts of the country.

WHO WE ARE

 International Beauty School is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission and we are accredited by  the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences.

We offer Cosmetology and Nail Tech training to those who wish to seek licensure in the field of beauty. We teach the most up to date techniques in all areas of cosmetology. Our instructors are licensed cosmetologists, who are continually being trained in the newest trends ,techniques and teaching methodology.

OUR SCHOOL-  Located in the heart of downtown Cumberland, Md.

International Beauty School is housed in an approximately 10,000sq. ft.space, totally airconditioned and remodeled to meet the needs of todays cosmetology training.

International Beauty School Clinic has been newly remodeled and is operated much like a full service Salon or Spa.  Here students aquire practical " in salon" experience through serving patrions with a complete menu of services.

All of our classrooms have ample room and equipment to give our students the best education possible.

The staff at International Beauty School cares deeply about the education and future success of all of our students. Our student services can help direct students to the right agencies  so that what ever obstacles may come their way,  they can succeed . They also help

 OUR PROGRAMS-  

International Beauty School offers the following programs

1500 Cosmetology - 2000 Hour Cosmetology  and  250 Hour Nail Technician  All programs have day and night classes.

Class schedules- 

Day  Classes -8:30 until 3:00  pm-----30 hours per week                                                                              

Night Classes- 5:00 until 10:00 pm----25 hours per week

1500 Hours=30 hours per week---50 weeks---day class

1500 Hours=25 hours per week---60 weeks--evening class

2000 Hours=30 hours per week---67 weeks---day class

2000 Hours=25 hours per week---80 weeks--- evening class

250 Hours=30 hours per week---8.33 weeks----day class

250 Hours=25 hours per week---10 weeks---evening class
